PerformancePoint and DynamicsAX (Axapta)

I am really enjoying the PerformancePoint training. One thing that has come up is that Microsoft are really keen to get feedback and scenarios about how PerformancePoint and Dynamics AX (Sorry I still think of it as Axapta) should interact.

There is a lot of work going on to build the connectors so if you have any scenarios, ideas or concerns then let me know and I will pass it on.

For commercial security please make the details anonymous, I will pass them on and then you can then establish the conversation directly from there.

Internally at Touchstone we have identified a client that has a significant number of companies. They have a requirement to do global company wide reporting and consolidation reporting. The options were to hand craft the reports or now consider PerformancePoint.

Two key questions have come up, security and customizations. On the security aspect, based on what I have seen so far I am a bit concerned. On the customization issues I have no idea yet.

On the security issue, No that needs a post on its own….
