I watched the live stream from the day 1 keynote and I am going through it again in its 2 1/2 of cringing shouting.

I saw lots of stuff on Windows 7 (which is indeed very very good), lots of stuff on the new Office (which looks very good) and a demo showing CRM and Twitter (Should demo well but don’t see many twittering clients)

What I did not hear anything on was the new version of MSCRM. Nothing! Whilst we have had some sneak previews from the PDC last year and lots of marketing talk about xRM but I had hoped that, as V5 was supposed to be tied to the Office release cycle, it would have got some of the same love.

It may be that those at the partner conference get to hear more over the coming days. I hope so as we need a clear roadmap to take to customers and to ensure we have the right people in the right places internally.
