I have just done a test on the main query for the data warehouse.
The query has 9 joins from 7 tables, 7 additional criteria in the where clause.
One of the tables has 7 million rows, another 15 million rows.
SQL Server 2005 crunched it in 16 Mins 15 Secs and returned 4.5 Million rows.
Not bad considering it was running on MY LAPTOP!
I cant wait to see it run on the server with Dual Xeons large RAM and Raid.
